☢️ We’re organising a visit to the COVRA nuclear waste storage facility, where the Netherlands safely manages its radioactive waste. This visit offers a unique opportunity to see the iconic “orange box” in person and gain insight into how long-term nuclear waste governance works in practice.
📅 The visit will take place on either Tuesday 03-03-2026 or Tuesday 10-03-2026. We will depart from The Hague at 11:00 and expect to return around 18:00.
🚗 Transport is organised via carpooling and spaces are limited. Priority will be given to drivers who can offer seats to other students. There are no sign-up costs for the visit itself, but passengers are expected to split fuel costs with their driver.
